The Glenwood Springs Mock Trial Team made history this past weekend, earning second place at the Empire Mock Trial World Championship Tournament. Competing against 43 other teams from five countries and 15 states, Glenwood Springs’ seven-member team delivered a performance no other team from their school had achieved before, finishing just shy of the world championship title.

Thank you to the many community members who have supported Glenwood Springs High School Mock Trial throughout the years. This year the team placed 9th at the Empire World Championship and won the State Championship for the eighth time in program history, the most of any team in Colorado. Our mock trial program is one of the few public school teams to have national success, and that is largely due to the community support we can count on every year. Thank you.

The Glenwood Springs High School Mock Trial Team 1 clinched the Colorado State Championship this past weekend, earning the right to represent the state of Colorado at the National High School Mock Trial Championship in Wilmington, Delaware, set to take place from May 3-5. The victory marks a Colorado high school record eighth state title for the program since its inception in 1993, and the first for the team since 2015.
